How do I set up a HeartStart AED

Using a HeartStart AED is easy. Simply remove the AED from its red case and pull out the tab to start the automatic battery self-test. Press the flashing orange Shock button when instructed by the AED. When the AED passes the self-test, it turns off and the green Ready light starts blinking. Reinstall the AED in its carry case and it is ready to be used in an emergency.
